Jan 13th
It seems that Asus has quietly slipped out a new model of its powerful nettop Eee Box EB1501 that was released sometime in October – this time with the same model number but with additional elements. Hence the new model is called the Eee Box EB1501-BO367.
But it’s not all about branding though. Asus has definitely made this newer model special with its Blu-ray capability. Yes, you read it right folks. If you were happy with the slot loading DVD player the came with the original EB1501, that same feature is present in the BO-367, but with the added Blu-ray capability.
Isn’t that sweet?
Anyway, aside from the Blu-ray feature, the Eee Box EB1501 also boasts of the same features including 2GB of RAM, 320GB of HDD, WiFi, gigabit ethernet, USB 2.0 ports, 4-in-1 memory card reader, audio in/out, S/PDIF and DVI.
The new Eee Box EB1501 with Blu-ray is available for $618 at this site.
