Netbook manufacturers just waited for Intel to announce the Pine Trail Atom CPU before they announced their newest netbook. For Asus, it’s two Eee PCs – 1005P and 1005PE which was leaked a couple of days ago. These two Eee PCs will be the latest to under Asus’ Eee PC Seashell product series.

While both Eee PCs sport nothing unusual from other  10-inch Eee PCs specifically the Eee PC 1005Ha under the hood, some new things were still added including improved battery life which Asus claims could last up to 14 hours.

With an expected price of around $379 when it becomes available in January 2010, it looks like the Eee PC 1005PE would be a good netbook buy only if you are a first time netbook buyer.
