TimesReader_Samsung

The New York Times is currently running a promo gig for its Times 2.0 Reader application. To increase its userbase, NYT is offering a $100 discount for every purchase of the Samsung Go Netbook. The catch? Nothing really, except for the fact that this Samsung Go netbook will be preloaded with NYT’s Reader 2.0 desktop apps. The real catch? You need to order a subscription to Times Reader 2.0 for one year to get the app running.

The one year subscription will cost you $179.00, so it’s practically $79 if you take out the $100 discount. But then this is only good if you’re planning to get the Samsung Go for your next netbook purchase and also if you are an avid NYT reader.

The offer is good only until March 2010, so that gives you four months to decide whether to take up this offer.

Interested? Here’s the link to the subscription page.
