While the rest of the world are capping off their Christmas day festivities, I stumbled upon this post while reading my Google Reader feeds regarding Amazon’s Christmas Day Bestsellers in Computers and Hardwares. Of course since the articles was an Apple post, the center of the article was on Apple Macs and MacBooks.

But aside from that, what is more interesting for us of course here in the Eee PC Blog is the fact that the Acer Aspire One got 7 models in the top 25. The Asus Eee PC got four of the spots in the list, Samsung and MSI Wind’s netbooks’ got two spots in the list and OLPC was also included. The rest of the laptops were your regular kinds and of course the 7 Apple MacBooks.

So, is Acer about to take over the Eee PC’s supremacy in the netbook market? Is the price drops initiated by Acer on their Aspire One attracting more customers? It will be interesting to find out what will be the consumer netbook trends in 2009.

A post from the Asus Eee PC blog.
