Vodafone to Offer Free Mini Inspiron 9
Sep 18th
You read that right – we said free!
As we previously reported, Vodafone and Dell teamed up to offer 3G services for the Dell Inspiron Mini. Vodafone have now announced that they will be offering a free Dell Mini Inspiron 9 when you sign up with them on a mobile broadband contract!
We can’t give details on price plans as Vodafone are yet to announce that information so, free may or may not come at a price but, with Vodafone’s current mobile broadband packages coming in at £15 or £25 a month for 3GB of data usage and 5gb respectively, with a minimum contract time of 24 months, it could be a very sweet deal for some customers that are happy to stick with the same model for 2 years.
Here is the link to register interest if you wish to be kept up to date with the offer: Mini9 Free Vodafone.

Laptop Magazine, Engadget and Geek.com recently had a presentation with an ASUS representative showing off the N10. The ASUS representative stated on multiple occasions that the N10 is a “notebook, not netbook”.

There will be two models of the N100 available, N10E and N10J. The N10E will start at $599 while the N10J will retail for $699. For the extra money it gets you a larger hard drive and switchable graphics.
The N10 comes with a 10 inch screen, with a resolution of 1024 x 600, 2GB of RAM, 1.6HGZ Atom processer and an ExpressCard slot. You’re also find a fingerprint reader, SmartLogon facial recognition, bluetooth and wlan as welel as a DisplayPort Video Out.
The N10E will come with a 160GB hard drive while the N10J will come with a 320GB hard drive. The N10E will also come with intergrated intel graphics where as the N10J will have switchable graphics of either Intergrated Intel or Nvidid GeForce 9300 MS.
