Dixon’s Advent 4213 is Not a Netbook, Well Maybe

Remember the MSI-clone Advent 4211? Retailer Dixons, which is now known as DSGI has quietly released a bigger version of said netbook with called the Advent 4213. Although it may seem like your regular mini notebook, all features and specs of the Advent 4213 point to one thing – it’s still a netbook.

Anyway, whatever you want to call it, the Advent 4213 is definitely not an MSI Wind clone this time. Specifically its features include;

  • 10.2-inch LCD
  • 1.66GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 160GB HD
  • 3G SIM Slot
  • HSDPA support
  • 1.4 kg

The DSGI Advent 4213 is available now for around $628. If it were to be classified as a netbook, the price is definitely too high, but if it is to be categorized as a mini notebook, then the price is just about fair.
