Toshiba Quietly Unveils its Netbook, the NB105
Sep 12th
We didn’t see this coming and there was certainly no noise, hype or buzz regarding Toshiba’s very own netbook – the NB105. Although Toshiba is one of the major PC players, nobody was really expecting it to join the netbook fray.
Anyway, the said NB105 netbook was quietly introduced by Toshiba Mexico. For their netbook baby, Toshiba decided to go the more proferssional look but certainly with all the netbook goodies you’d expect from a major PC maker.
For its specs, the Toshiba NB105 is packed with the usual Intel Atom N270 processor, an 8.9-inch (1024×600), full-featured standard keyboard, 1GB of RAM, 3 USB port, SDHC card reader, Wifi, and 120GB HD. The NB105 will get a Windows XP or Linux OS and will most probably be released sometime in November. No pricing information yet.
