Airis G10IL Arriving in France Soon
Sep 11th
French website Clubic.com has posted pictures and a report stating that Airis will be updating their range of netbooks to include the G10IL in the near future.
Airis have been releasing low cost computers for a while now and so are no stranger to the netbook world. The G10IL will push the other models aside which are mostly powered by the VIA C7-M CPU.
The G10IL however features an Intel Atom CPU, a larger keyboard, 8.9 inch display as well as it’s unusual touchpad with LED lights built into the mouse buttons.

Lenovo IdeaPad S10 release delayed
Sep 11th
It seems that the Lenovo IdeaPad S10’s release date has possibly been delayed by two months. Customers that pre-ordered the S10 were expecting it to be released on the 9th September. However, some buyers have been tracking the status of their order and have noticed that the status was not updating throughout the day. In fact, the order status for pre-orders wasn’t updated by Lenovo until a day after the due release date. The status then showed an expected release date of November 18th.
It’s unclear as to why Lenovo waited until the 10th of September to update their customers but, they have managed to send out a few units to allow for reviews and photographs to be published. Unfortunately, it seems some customers are lacking in solid information as to when they should expect to get their hands on their new S10.

More Official Photos of the Samsung Netbook Spotted
Sep 11th
A couple of days ago we’ve reported about Samsung’s possible entry into the netbook fray with a mini-notebook of their own. We even managed to snag some nice photos of said netbook from the wild. Now, here’s the latest information about the said netbook.
WhatLaptop is running a story with the official photos of the still unnamed Samsung Netbook to prove that there really is a Samsung netbook. According to the site, said netbook will have a 10.2-inch screen and will be available in 3 colors – white, black and blue.
In addition all the media keys of the netbook were removed from the body and put instead on its side together with the usual ports – 3 USB ports, Ethernet, VGA out and the power button.
Most noteable feature of the Samsung netbook is its full-featured keyboard occupying the who space of the its chassis. The touchpad was enlarged as well compared to other netbooks.
For some of its official specs. The Samsung netbook would most probably run on Windows XP, will have an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, around 80 to 120GB of HD for storage and its 6-cell battery was said to be capable of around 5 hours of good use.
Pretty impressive specs, right? But the deciding factor will still be its market price.
