MSI Officially Announces the Wind U90 in Europe

While the rest of the Asian countris are already enjoying the MSI Wind U90 a couple of months ago, it is only now that said netbook is making its way into the European markets. Register Hardware is reporting that MSI has officially announced the MSI Wind U90, which is a scaled-down version of the recently released Wind U100 (in Europe). Getting an SRP of around $485 which is a bit lower than its big brother Wind U100 which priced in at around $593. Although many of us may already know this, the Wind U90 will feature an 8.9-inch display and 80GB of HDD.
In a related development, the MSI Wind U100 which was introduced last week in Europe with an 80GB HD has upgraded its capacity into 160GB and which now cost around $585. Similarly, for those who wants the 10-inch display with 80GB of HDD may opt to get the MSI Wind U100 in pink color which packs in 80GB of HD and retails for $575.

Fujitsu LifeBook P1630 found on the FCC

jkkmobile reports on the Fujitsu LifeBook P1630 hitting the FCC. On the FCC website you’ll find the user manual as well as test reports.
With a 8.9 inch touch screen, up to 2GB of RAM and an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, it won’t be very different to earlier models but worth a consideration. The Fujitsu LifeBook P1630 will also have wlan, lan and bluetooh connectivity as well as a fingerprint reader.

Bamboo Notebook by ASUS

In a major milestone for ASUS and the IT industry, ASUS bring us their Bamboo Series of notebooks. The Bamboo Series brings proof that it is possible to meet the demands of modern technology while being environmentally friendly and going green.
ASUS will be releasing two versions of the bamboo netbook, an 11.1 inch model and a 12.1 inch model. Both will include a 0.3 mega pixel web camera, 8 in 1 card reader, Windows Vista installed, a Super Multi Double Layer DVD drive and an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. While both will have an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, they will however both be different models.
Other differences between the two models include hard drive size. The 11.1 inch model will come with a 1.8 inch PATA hard drive in the following sizes: 80GB, 100GB and 120GB. The 12.1 inch netbook model will have a 2.5 inch SATA hard drive in the following sizes: 160GB, 250GB and 320GB. The full specifications can be found here.
