Is HP Releasing a 10-inch 2133 Mini Note?
This Digitimes report might be hinting on a possible follow-up to the HP 2133 Mini-Note which has been out for quite some time now. According to the report, HP is planning to launch a series of 10.1- and 10.2-inch netbooks sometime in October. To be manufactured by Inventec, the same company which was contracted out by HP for its first netbook, the 10-inch HP netbooks would have the Intel Atom processor, which is of course a much need upgrade for the 2133 Mini Note since almost all of the 9-10 inch netbooks available in the market today has the said processor.
Aside from the Atom CPU, the new HP netbooks will have SSD’s for storage instead of the hard drive offered with the HP 2133. In addition, the new HP netbook would have an LCD display resolution of 1024×576. HP is also planning to launch the 10.1 enterprise version which will give users a choice between having an SSD or HD for their netbook’s storage.
