Eee PC 1000H launched in India by Asus
Eee PC 1000H has been recently launched by Asus in India, which became the first netbook of India. This Eee PC 1000H is powered by Intel Atom processor. Other than being an ultra portable computing device, Asus Eee PC 1000H has been featured with large 10″ display.
This Eee PC also comes with ASUS’s exclusive Super Hybrid Engine which provides longer battery backup of up to five hours, and a 1.3 Mega Pixel webcam along with its wireless Internet connection capabilities for enhancing web resources.
The Eee PC 1000H uses Intel’s Atom processor which supports new small devices and low power microarchitecture, maintaining Intel Core 2 Duo instruction set. It will be featured with Intel Chipset Motherboard, 1GB (up to 2GB) of main memory, 80GB XP Hard Disk Drive, Intel UMA Graphics compatibility, 802.11b/g/n Wireless Connectivity, along with 1.3 Mega Pixel Camera.
This one is not going to be the only one. According to IT Voir, ASUS has announced that the new Eee PC 904H with an 8.9″ screen with 1024×600 resolution display and up to 4.5 hours of battery backup, will soon be available in the market along with the Eee PC 1000H.
Both the PCs comes with pre-installed Windows XP, Microsoft Works, ASUS exclusive Super Hybrid Engine, fast wireless connectivity Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Eee Connect which is a remote desktop feature for connecting two or more users, and generous storage capacity of 80GB SATA hard disk drive.
The retail price for ASUS 1000H will be around Rs. 29,000/- and that of 904H will be around Rs. 26,990/-.
