No Inspiron Mini from Dell

Well we won’t be getting an Inspiron Mini today. The event that Dell organised for today, to showcase their fresh new and innovative designs did not include the Dell Inspiron Mini. While they did announce new laptops today, 10 to be exact, they’re all business focused laptops.
The laptops however do carry the Dell E series name. Dell E was previously associated with that of news and rumours surrounding the Inspiron Mini.

Asus Eee PC 900A release is official

The release of the Asus Eee PC 900A is now official.
It is essentially identical to the Eee PC 900 but with one big difference. The Asus Eee PC 900A will have an Intel Atom CPU. The other difference is that it will also be the first Eee PC to come in purple. If purple isn’t your color you also have the option of white or black.
As of yet there is no information on the price or when it will become available. ComTech however, a German retailer, has the Eee PC up for preorder for the price of 299 Euros which converts to just under $450 according to XE.com.
Inside of the Eee PC 900A, you’ll find the Intel Atom N270 CPU, an 8GB or 16GB SSD with 1GB RAM all in a netbook that weighs in at 0.99kg and measures 22.5cm(W) x 17.0cm(D) x 2-3.38cm(H). Enough space for a 8.9 inch screen, WLAN, 3 USB ports, SD card slot and a 0.3 megapixel webcam.

Asus Eee PC 900A release is official
The Eee PC 901 Also Gets a New Limited Edition Green Design

It looks like, its not only the Eee PC 1000h which is getting a limited edition model. We also learned that even the first Eee PC model which featured the Intel Atom processor will also get its own limited edition design. We are referring to the Eee PC 901 which will sport a lime green design with the same snowflakes accent as the Limited Edition Red Eee PC 1000h.
But aside from the new color, this limited edition Eee PC 901 has nothing new to offer. You’d still get the same 8.9-inch LCD display, ATOM processor, 1GB RAM, SSD, WIFI, Bluetooth and around eight hour battery life.
Said limited edition Eee PC 901 will be released in the Taiwanese market later this month. No pricing details are available yet.
