Fujitsu is entering the netbook market as well using its laptop series model, the Amilo. For their netbook, Fujitsu is calling it the Amilon Mini, measuring only 123×118 mm.
Aside from its Intel Atom Processor and Windows XP OS. everything about the Amilo Mini still remain in secret as Fujitsu might take the upcoming even IFA as a good venue to unveil its netbook.
For a bit of a big diffrence among other netbook, the Fujitsi Amilo Mini will come with interchangeable covers (yes, ala mobile phones), which can be bouught individually.
Finally the Amilo Mini is expected to retail for around $571.
And that’s pretty much what we know about the mysterious Fujitsu netbook. While we await for official announcement about this netbook, join us in watchin this short leaked video of the Amilo Mini.

Is HP Releasing a 10-inch 2133 Mini Note?
Aug 8th
This Digitimes report might be hinting on a possible follow-up to the HP 2133 Mini-Note which has been out for quite some time now. According to the report, HP is planning to launch a series of 10.1- and 10.2-inch netbooks sometime in October. To be manufactured by Inventec, the same company which was contracted out by HP for its first netbook, the 10-inch HP netbooks would have the Intel Atom processor, which is of course a much need upgrade for the 2133 Mini Note since almost all of the 9-10 inch netbooks available in the market today has the said processor.
Aside from the Atom CPU, the new HP netbooks will have SSD’s for storage instead of the hard drive offered with the HP 2133. In addition, the new HP netbook would have an LCD display resolution of 1024×576. HP is also planning to launch the 10.1 enterprise version which will give users a choice between having an SSD or HD for their netbook’s storage.

Eee PC 900A Ripped Apart
Aug 8th
Electricpig stumbled upon leaked videos of the Eee PC 900A, one of the many variants of the Eee PC netbook that was reported to have the chassis of the 10-inch Eee PC and the insides of the Eee PC 900. It could probably be the next best thing to owning an Eee PC 1000 and Eee PC 900/901. If you don’t mind having a bigger netbook that doesn’t have the computing power of the Eee PC 901, meaning no ATOM processor, then the Eee PC 900A is your thing. But honestly, I would not believe that anyone would actually buy this Eee PC. Unless of course if it will have a lower price than the Eee PC 900/901.
Anyway, here’s the video showing some PC hardware specialists exposing the innards of the Eee PC 900A. Tell me what you’ve seen after watching the videos.
